At 2037 hrs , on Aug 16, 2006...E112 and MU13 were dispatched for a reported MVC at the intersection of Ft Smallwood Rd and Solley Rd...Upon arrival, E112's crew found 2 vehicles containing 2 occupants each...The passenger of one of the vehicles was trapped by the door...Officer of E112 (Lt Wachter) called for a squad company to assist with popping a door...Squad 13 was dispatched.....While waiting the arrival of the squad the crew from E112 pulled a handline and stabilized the vehicle and proceeded to remove the door with the portable combination tool before Squad 13 arrived....The squad was cancelled enroute and the patient was taken to an area hospital for routine check...
