At 0101hours units were dispatched to the 1900 block of Yorkie Avenue for the Garage fire attached to the dwelling. Units responding were. Engine 101 arrived on the scene reporting the garage 100% involved. E101 gave an update of the fire extending into the second floor into the dwelling. Tower 11 arrived as the first due truck and was sent to the second floor to open for the attack crew. The Tower remained on scene for several hours.
