On March 16, 2006 at 1020 hours Engine 112 and Brush 11 responded on the 3rd Alarm Brush Box in the 26-17 box area, in the 8300 block of Grover Road. Eng 112 and Brush 11 arrived on location and was given the assignment to take Exposure division. Eng 112 laid 1000' of 4' and setup of several attack lines and master streams as the fire moved quickly in their direction. Luckily as fire got 100 yards away the wind changed direction. Crews from Eng 112 and Brush 11 remained on the scene for over eight hours.
