December 16, 2005

At Approx 2230 hours, E112 transfered to Station 31 to fill in for Engine 311 while 31's crews were on a working fire in the 31-5 Box. E-112 was enroute to Station 31 when it was picked up on the All Hands Box. The engine arrived on location and Captain 11 assumed staging officer while the crew went to the fireground. By now, BC 1 had called for the second alarm because of the exposures. Seeing that the fire had burned through the buildings roof, command declared a building evacuation and by this time Truck 33 was using its monitor to flow water onto the house and surrounding buildings. After the fire was declared under control, 11's crew went to work hitting hot spots and pulling walls and ceilings.
