At 11:00 p.m. on the 6th, firefighters were dispatched to the unit block of Virginia Avenue NW for a dwelling fire. This fire was also upgraded to a “Working Fire Dispatch” as units were enroute due to multiple 911 callers. First arriving units had fire showing from a single family dwelling which was under renovation. The fire was brought under control in 30 minutes but not before causing $10,000 in damages.
