Shortly before 6pm, Station 11 received the alert for a dwelling fire and Squad 11 was dispatched to Point Pleasant Road in Marleys area. Engine 181 was the first piece to arrive and reported heavy fire from the dwelling.
Upon arrival, the crew from Squad 11 was assigned fire attack on side charlie. As they made their way around to the backyard, firefighters encountered heavy fire in the basement, first floor, and the attic. Quint 30 arrived at side charlie to assist Squad 11 on fire attack and with overhaul.
Squad 11 was placed back in service around 9pm.
