D-Shift gets another sleepless night here at the beach. Besides the minor medicals that were handled, at 0300hrs this date, Station 11 was alerted for a Dwelling Fire in the Brooklyn area of the county. Units were dispatched to the 300 block of West Meadow Rd, upon arrival E311 reported fire from side "A" of a brick rowhome. Crews got to work fast and got a good knock on the fire containing it to the first floor front room. Chief 11 (Fenwick) and the Lieutenant off of Squad 11 (Lorenzano) teamed up together to create a crew that was assigned to RIT for a short time. Crews managed to safely rescue a dog, a cat and the owner form the home. Click on this link for further info.
