On June 27 at 1000hrs, Squad 11 was heading to Altoona Beach for an in-service inspection, when a call for a car into a tree was dispatched at Nabbs Creek and Brightwater Beach Road. Just getting ready to turn onto Nabbs Creek Road, what perfect timing. Upon arrival was one male patient who self extricated from the vehicle bleeding from the right leg. Crews quickly went to work triaging and stablizing the patient awaiting ALS. The patient was taken to Shock Trauma Priority 2E. The holmotro tools while excited and ready to work... will have to wait until next time.
