July 30, 2007

At approx 2030 hrs on July 29, 2007, Station 11 was alerted for a MVC along Marley Neck Blvd in the area of Tanyard Cove Rd...While responding, E112 was advised by firealarm that there were reports of several occupants still in the vehicle and were possibly trapped and not moving...On arrival, E112 found a small compact vehicle approx 30 feet off the roadway in the trees that appeared to have rolled over several times..,Upon further evaluation the crew found 2 occupants in the backseat that were severly trapped and extrication time was gonna be extensive...E112 requested the Rescue Assignment with a special call for 1 additional rescue unit and an additional medic unit...SQ13 arrived shortly after, getting to work quick on the vehicle, because of the position and location of the vehicle, it made the extrication a bit complex...After approx 5 minutes of cutting, the crews found that they had 1 Priority 4 patient and 1 Priority 1 patient in the vehicle...E181 was dispatched to established the landing site for Trooper 8....There were a total of 4 occupants in the vehicle, 3 of which were transported to Shock Trauma Baltimore...1 by air and 2 by ground ....The Priority 4 patient was transported to BWMC...

Units: E112, SQ13, Chief11, QNT30, MU13, PM18, PM33, EMS1, E181, BC2, TRP8,
