Constellation Energy Fire

On Aug 22, 2008 at approx 1200hrs (noon), Station 11 was alerted for a first due commercial building fire at the Constellation Power BGE plant at Brandon Shores...Initial report was for a ruptured hydraulic line in a control room which was ignited by the boiler. E112 was dispatched and a 2nd crew from Orchard Beach rolled out with Squad 11....Upon arrival we found a control room well involved with extension to large diameter boiler line insulation, pallets, and large machinery. The crew from E112 got to work quick and advanced a line into the structure containing the fire to just the control room..
