Crowds Flock to the Orchard Beach Annual Open House
By Secretary Michael Matula
October 5, 2009
The volunteers at Orchard Beach would like to thank the community for coming out to our annual Open House on Sunday October 4th. The days activities included watching demonstrations by BGE gas, BGE electricity, Chesapeake Rescue Dogs, Bay Area Rescue Canines and our own Orchard Beach Firefighters. Special thanks to the Anne Arundel County Alarmers, BGE utilities, the Anne Arundel County Dive unit, AACo Special Command Unit, and the United States Coast Guard.
Visitors walked away with a variety of free giveaways, coloring books, Orchard Beach cups, and a belly full of cotton candy and hotdogs! We hope to see everyone again next year!
